Welcome to The Foundation for Real Nutrition and Sustainable Living. Our mission is to provide a supportive community for those who want an energetic and enjoyable lifestyle of eating nutrient-rich, properly prepared whole foods while not compromising the ability of future generations to do the same. We study and share our collective knowledge on practical ways to incorporate the traditional nutrition wisdom of nutrition pioneers, like Dr. Weston A. Price and others, in our daily lives. To achieve our mission: (1) We host fun and lively monthly general meetings that are open to the public. These meetings are designed to increase your consciousness about real nutrition and sustainable living and empower you to think for yourself so that you make truly nourishing choices for you, your family and our environment. We host a potluck of nutrient-rich dishes during every meeting. (2) We host monthly “In the Kitchen” special events for members only where we demonstrate, from start to finish, how to properly prepare specific nutrient-rich foods. These events are designed to provide members with practical experience that gives them the confidence to incorporate nourishing traditions in their daily lives. (3) Through our Yahoo! To achieve our mission:

These events are designed to provide members with practical experience that gives them the confidence to incorporate nourishing traditions in their daily lives.

(3) Through our Yahoo! Group, we keep members and supporters aware of (and encourage specific actions regarding) issues and activities that impact our freedom to access high quality, nutrient-rich foods.

(4) We also provide a resource list for organic foods, dairy products from pasture-fed livestock, and pasture-fed eggs and livestock in Northern Illinois and surrounding areas.

Our regular meetings are held on the second Sunday of every month at 2:00pm. Although our permanent meeting place is Immanuel Lutheran Church in Downers Grove, schedule conflicts may occasionally require a change in location. So, be sure to check this site regularly for location updates.
